Hi everyone!! Sorry I've been so bad at updating and replying to you guys. Hopefully I'll get better at it and actually keep up with things. Not much has been going on recently, but my sister and I did manage to make it to A-kon this year. I didn't think it was going to happen, but it did!! Thanks to my amazing parents and Zyephens-Insanity who was kind enough to share a hotel room with us we were able to go. It was the first time I've shared a room with strangers and everything went fine. All our roommates were pleasant and I'm glad I got the chance to meet Zyephens in person. My sister and I didn't spend a whole lot of time at A-kon, but instead went to DollAKon the majority of the weekend. DollAKon is a part of A-kon that focuses just on ball-jointed dolls. It was great meeting other doll owners and seeing so many different kinds of dolls. I learned so much at the panels and had a lot fun. I even learned to restring and suede at the Dollie Hospital panel, which was really helpful since one of my boys was previously super floppy. He stands and poses wonderfully now. The Dealer's Room had a lot of dolls and doll supplies as well. I didn't have near enough money to buy a doll of course, but I ended up leaving with an obitsu Gretel head, a pair of glass glittery eyes (which are beautiful), and a hot pink wig. Normally I wouldn't have picked out a pink wig, but I loved the color as soon as I saw it. Hopefully I'll be able to get my new girl a body soon. She's my first girl doll and I can't wait to try and make her some clothes, but before I can do that I have to save up for her a body. Anyway A-kon and DollAKon was totally worth going this year and I really hope I am able to go back next year.

In other news I almost have Griff paid off!!! He's my Angelheim Misty Twin Raul in tan. He's been on layaway since April 10th and I'm so close to having him paid off. I originally ordered him blank with no extras, but since I already have enough to pay him off blank I'm going to add his face-up to my order and hopefully his wig and clothes as well. Griff is one of my dream dolls and I never thought I'd be able to get him let alone as a fullset. He's going to be my first tan doll, my first limited doll, and my first doll with fantasty parts. I can't wait to pay him off and see him in person!!
